This is a fake from a Czechoslovakian company called Teichert. Real Meissen is German and uses crossed swords. There is a huge difference in quality and worth. You priced it low enough but should not call it Meissen.

@victorianblue oh I did not know that, I purchased this plate at an estate sale on a whim. Are all German marks the crossswords, or just this one?

This mark is Czechoslovakian. German Meissen is crossed swords. Japanese Blue Onion has crossed arrows. And Japanese blue onion called Blue Danube, from the 1950's, is marked with Blue Danube in a ribbon. There are lots of styles and lots of marks. I have tons of pieces I've been collecting for about 40 years.
