Vintage 1960s Chinese Short Brown Red Reversible Floral Jacket Frog Closures

This little jacket is fantastic, you get two jackets for the price of one! The brown color is rare, I didn’t find any others like it online! Features: 4 Frog closures both sides Front pockets both sides Decorative quilting Boxy fit Peony label A little bit of “fill”, but not very thick and puffy, or very warm Red satin floral Brown floral over satin Tags say: Peony Brand Shanghai China XL (please see measurements this is not a US XL). There isn’t a fabric content label (or if it says it, I can’t read it), so I don’t know if it is silk or a silky rayon. The brown floral fabric isn’t as silky as the red side because it has so much more texture/pattern. Jacket is in very good vintage condition and shows little sign of wear. The colors are vibrant. There is just a little bit of discoloration on the very end of the red cuffs, around the neckline, and the red frog closures. I wasn’t able to button all the red closures, they are tight. I have a brace on my hand which makes it difficult, you may be able to button them all! Measurements are taken with garment laying flat and doubled as appropriate. Measurements are of the garment itself, so please be sure to leave room for your body and movement. Fabric is NOT stretchy! Bust measured just below armholes at widest part: 40” Waist: 42” Bottom hem: 42” but there are slits on the sides that can open for a little more room Sleeve length from shoulder seam to cuff: 21.5” Overall length from center top of shoulder to bottom: 25.5”
