Vintage 1960s Gino Charles Metallic Brocade Cocktail Gown, small

Fabulous gold on white metallic brocade A-line gown by 60's designer collaboration Gino Charles (Malcolm Starr and Teal Traina). Appears to have been a custom couture piece==no size or care labels. Brand label in lower back seam. Back zipper with neckline hook closure, and decorative same-fabric button closure center front. Entire dress is lined, the skirt in a lightweight woven fabric and the top in something shiny that is likely acetate given the era. Displayed on a 34" mannequin. Dress measures just under 36" at bust, ~31" where the bodice lining ends and 54.5" shoulder to hem at the neckline. This is a heavier fabric without any give so it will run small. There is some light discoloration in the lining under the arms and in the lower back skirt lining.
