Vintage 1960's Kay Wynne Taffeta Cocktail Dress

Lovely and stylish long sleeve cocktail dress with buttons going down the end the tapered sleeve, that match those down the full length of the front of the dress. A jewel neck collar is accented by a front partially ruffled hem set off by a large centered draping bow. Slightly tapered waist further adds to its figure flattering feminine appeal. Designed by Sylvia Franklin for Kay Wynne Originals it's as much in Vogue today as it was back then. And though there doesn't appear to be any indication of size, it's been estimated to be between an 8-10. And now for a bit interesting trivia. This very dress was worn in a community theatre production of Sabrina Fair by the actress featured in the starring role. The exact scene was at a formal afternoon garden party. Which merely either by chance and coincident, or even perhaps by divine intervention, resulted in the two co-stars future romance resulting in their subsequent marriage. Very much the same as occurred in both the original film with William Holden and Audrey Hepburn, and the later remake with Harrison Ford and Julia Ormond.
