Vintage 1960s Plaid Dress

This vintage early 1960s dress has wonderful colors for an autumn palette! There's no doubt, it's a "Joan" dress. A mix of sex appeal and office practicality is realized with a wigglesome skirt, and a bodice with just a bit of blousing. The bodice and top of the hips are cut on the bias, while the plaid on the skirt runs straight up and down. Clearly a quality garment, it is lined to below the hips. Closes with a long nylon zipper at the back.
