Vintage 1960s Shannon Rodgers Butter Yellow Dress

Dress features: No sleeves, the collar holds the front and back fabric in place Snap front-hidden* Hidden pockets Some elastic around the back waist Very straight fitted skirt Full lining, extra panel of lining in the back bodice Beautiful nubby yellow fabric Little panel of fabric at the underarm providing a thoughtful detail Belt loops but no belt Tags say Shannon Rodgers. Outer fabric feels really nice, possibly a raw silk or silk linen blend fabric. Nubby texture. Dress is in good vintage condition. Slight light greenish discoloration by the front hooks at very top of the collar (see photo). The fabric itself has what appears to be a natural “line” across back of skirt, it doesn’t look like a snag, but does look like a line when held up; barely shows when laying flat, but appears when worn. There is some discoloration on the under-turned hem, sort of a light gray line (like a pencil) that I don’t know if it will come out. There are some other slight discolorations on the lining that don’t show when worn that may come out with cleaning. Belt loops, no belt. Priced accordingly. Measurements taken with the garment laying flat, doubled as appropriate. Measurements are of the garment itself and fabric is NOT stretchy! Bust measured at fullest part below armholes 35” Waist 31-32” (some elastic in the back) Hips 34” Overall length 38” Bodice length from top of shoulder to bottom of small waistband approx. 15.5” Skirt length from bottom of waistband to hem approx. 22.5”
