Vintage 1960s Suit, A. May Green and Black Two Piece Jacket And Skirt Set

Wonderful vintage suit from the 1960s in emerald green with black and white floral print. Jacket has a tailored waist with 3/4 sleeves and a sweeping collar. There is black velvet trim at the sleeve ends and a large velvet hook closure at the waist. The skirt is a pencil shape with a zipper at the side and one inner small pocket perfect for a key or credit card. Feels like a poly. Jacket lined in acetate, skirt is unlined. Label reads: A. May, Hong Kong. Probably a larger medium to smaller large size, but do see measurements. Excellent vintage condition. The skirt has a mark about an inch and a bit long and theres some signs that a couple seams were let out. The jacket's lining has some color fade, unseen when worn. Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hips. Jacket: Armpit to armpit across bust: approx 43" Waist: 37" Shoulder to waist: 23.5" Skirt: Waist: 32" Hips: 39.5" Waist to bottom hem: 26.5" Please note: These are vintage, preworn and/or preloved items.
