Morning,
A nice vintage variant of the original single-handled Kelly-style (named for the late Grace Kelly) handbag pocketbook - also known as a "Daytime Pocketbook". This is actually a dual-purpose pocketbook as it can be either carried as a handbag by the hand or on the arm and, too, as a shoulder bag as the handles are long enough to do so. Of course, it is made of all vinyl.
As to the period it's from, it's not from '50'. This first appeared in the late '60s and then again in the

late '70s. By the by, the Kelly bag era began in '54, and at the end of '79, it concluded for almost all purses makers. I hope this info is useful.
