Vintage 1960’s/70’s Coat

Welcome to the BEST organized closet on Poshmark! BUNDLE UP! This vintage coat was made by the Int Ladies Garment Workers Union ILGWU in the USA. It is a beautiful deep shade of purple faux fur lined with a quilted interior. It is in amazing condition considering its age. Can be worn today! Notice a couple of spots pointed out. Hardly able to be seen in the deep purple color. There is no size tag, pit to pit measures 15”, drop is 16”. My guess is 2T. This beautiful coat was made by the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, or ILGWU. The Union made clothing between 1900 and 1995. “Day the same as night, night the same as day. And all I do is sew and sew and sew. May God help me, and my love come soon. That I may leave this work and go.” - Yiddish lament of these clothing sweatshops.
