The 3M Twixt game is a two-player abstract strategy board game that was first introduced by the 3M Company in 1962. The game is played on a square board with a 24 x 24 grid of holes. Each player starts the game with 21 pegs of their own color, and the objective of the game is to connect two opposite sides of the board with a continuous line of pegs of your own color. On each turn, a player can either place a peg of their own color onto the board or move one of their existing pegs. Pegs can be moved in any direction along the lines that connect the holes on the board, and they can be moved any number of spaces as long as there is an unobstructed path. The game is won by the first player to create a continuous line of their own color that connects two opposite sides of the board. The game can also end in a draw if both players are unable to create a winning line after a certain number of turns.
