1966 Mandrake the Magician Board Game from Transogram Missing original instructions & some pieces This Mandrake game is missing the instructions and some pieces. I assume it’s missing four player markers and two “eyes”. The box and playing board are in good to fair shape. Included is a copy of the instructions. The original Mandrake the Magician game came with an instruction sheet, the board, the spinner, 16 cards, four “eyes” and four player markers. The red disks are used as magic x-ray eyes to see hidden messages on the 16 cards. (The last photo shows the cardboard items in the 1966 state to give you an idea of its original look.) The object of game was, “Police have been unable to capture the criminal triplets who operate through a hidden network. Only Mandrake with his X-Ray vision can penetrate their disappearing act. Each player is Mandrake trying to be first to capture three identical brothers.” “How to play”: Mix the cards thoroughly and deal them face down, into the purple card space on the board. Put a plastic marker into each of the "Eyes". Each Player takes an Eye and puts it on the "Start" space to his left. The player who spins the highest number goes first and play follows to his left.”
