Vintage 1970s 70s Womens Military Army WAC Green Blazer Jacket and Skirt Suit

c. 1975-1976 OKAY, YALL. Get ready for some military fashion history! I did a lot of research for this suit, cause lemme tell ya, there are very few of these vintage military suits available online. In fact, despite this uniform having a 16 year run (22 if you include all-wool ones in the same style), I couldnt find a SINGLE one available online. And trust me, I looked. Honestly, vintage womens military uniforms in general appear to be incredibly difficult to find. This specific uniform style was issued from 1960-1981 for members of the Womens Army Corps (WAC) (source: http://webdoc.sub.gwdg.de/ebook/p/2005/CMH_2/www.army.mil/cmh-pg/books/wac/appendix-d.htm). From what I understand, AG344 is simply the given name of the specific shade of green. (Note: my camera did not capture the color accurately. I tried editing to get the color as close as I could, but its not perfect,so look it up to see what it looks like.) "Tropical" means that the material is a blend. Originally, this uniform style was only issued in wool.
