Vintage 1970s Antonio Fluxa UK7.5 Blue Leather Wooden Platform Zip up GoGo Boots

These incredible handmade true vintage boots are straight out of the disco glam rock 1970s. Soft, deep, dark navy blue leather uppers with side zippers and thick but lightweight wooden platform soles with stacked block heels. The full grain leather is strong yet thin and soft and feels like a pair of expensive leather driving gloves, so I would guess it is likely sheepskin. The boots are lined inside with a matching deep blue silky material that feels like polyester or nylon fabric. Although it’s difficult to make out, the imprint inside the boots matches similar Antonio Fluxa styles and reads: “Made exclusively In Spain for Harbor Imports by Antonio Fluxa” Freddie Mercury wore a pair of Fluxa platforms from Harbor Imports that was auctioned by Sotheby’s. Here’s your chance to be a rock star, or at least dance like one! This is the chunky, thick sole style that inspired brands like Destroy, Sonax and El Dantes in the 1990s, but these are the O.G. originals. The zippers on the sides of these boots slide smoothly and are made by Opti, a European zipper company that was used by luxury brands like Dulce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, Dior, Prada, and Miu Miu.
