Yei represents a group of holy people, or deities, who serve as mediators between humans and the great spirit. They preside over forces like the weather and the cycle between day and night. They can be forces for good or evil.
Each Couroc design is a one-of-a-kind creation by a member of Monterey Bay, CA world-famous art colony. Couroc designs include abalone shells and sea plants from Monterey Bay, as well as rare coins, metals, and woods from around the world. Each piece of Couroc's design is painstakingly hand-inlaid. No two trays are exactly alike, each has its own character. Finished designs are permanently fused into Couroc's own phenolic resin material under heat and thousands of pounds of pressure.
American Indian metal and wood inlay vintage Couroc black resin serving tray. A handsome addition to your Couroc serving tray collection. Couric is is known for their durable resin, impervious to alcohol and flames. "Any tray can serve a drink. Only Couroc can start a conversation."
