Vintage 1970s Regency Formal Gown Burgundy Red XS High Neck Empire Prairie Prom

this long-sleeved ankle-length regency formal dress was handmade in the 70s by someone who knew what they were doing and stored responsibly. the burgundy/dark red/ox blood fabric is a thicker synthetic fabric, akin to what we’d call “scuba” today, with a pretty satin-like sheen. the dress is fully lined and features chest and elbow darts with a mock neck and hidden zipper. a strip of beautiful gunne sax-like embroidery in incredible condition highlights the empire waist. this would be a total showstopper at prom or really any event where you’re ready to get your disco regency on. flat measurements: bust: 15” high waist: 13.5” shoulders: 14” sleeve: 21” length: 56”
