Vintage 1970's Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Peasant Top and Skirt Set YSL This mid 1970's Saint Laurent peasant set is chic, elegant and easy to wear. This is a coordinating set of a loose fitting long sleeved peasant top with a matching pleated skirt. The ensemble is made of a woven fabric that has a beautiful drape. The print is very striking with blue, ochre and brown flowers on a turquoise blue background. Adorned with a midnight blue velvet placket and cuffs which are characteristic of garments in the Saint Laurent Russian Collection of 1976. Closure: The peasant top has buttons at the back of the placket and buttons and at each cuff. The matching skirt pleated has a zipper and hook closure at the side. The skirt has hidden side inseam pockets. Unlined set Fiber content: no composition tag. The fabric is has a light drape, woven and feels like 100% wool.
