Vintage 1970's does 1940's Miss Elaine Red Velvet Dressing Gown

Vintage 1970's Miss Elaine red velvet dressing gown. VERY 1940's inspired!! Everything from the fit, the shoulders, the material - so very 40's! This is a lush red velvet full length dressing gown. Beautifully pouf shoulders with lovely wide lapels and figure flattering stitching along the sides. It even has POCKETS! Set low, just below hip level, hidden side pockets. Buttons at the waist with two buttons. Unlined. Tags: Miss Elaine 85% arnel triacetate 15% nylon Large Condition: AS IS condition. Shows typical signs of vintage wear which can include snags, pilling, spots of discoloration or uneven wear to the velvet. Lots of wear noted throughout including napping/uneven wear to the velvet, light spots that are not holes but could potentially be from moths. Spots of discoloration noted throughout, most are approximately fingertip sized. The buttonholes at the waist have been stretched out and would benefit from being reinforced. Has a repair at one buttonhole. Overall very AS IS but structurally sound and wearable. A spot where something was spilled on the lapels. We have gently spot cleaned this but have not thoroughly cleaned it. Most of the flaws aren't immediately visible but you have to look for them. Review detail photos carefully.
