Vintage 1977 Warner Bros. Licensed Tweety Bird Baby Outfit - NWT - READ

This is a vintage Tweety Bird two piece baby outfit. On the front of the top there is a dimensional stuffed Tweety Bird in a boat fishig with "Tweety" embroidered on the boat. The shirt buttons down the back. The bottoms are lined with plastic, like a wet resistant diaper. They have snaps in the front and elastic in the back. Very cute outfit. The size given on the tag is birth to 3 months. 65% polyester/35% cotton. New with tags. NOTE: They attached the top of theTweety Bird to the front of the top with a large safety pin (see photos). If you intend to put this outfit on a baby, the Tweety should be stitched to the top and the safety pin removed for obvious reasons. It would only take a few stitches to secure the Tweety to the shirt and the safety pin is not necessary. There is no evidence that this Tweety was ever stitched to the shirt. You can see the stitching outline in the 3rd photo. Other than that quick fix, this is a really cute outfit, and if you just collect Tweety Bird items, then none of this matters. New with tags.
