Vintage 1980s CAROLYN TANNER DESIGNS Brass Lion Head Braided Adjustable Belt

This is a beautiful 1980s woven fibre belt by Carolyn Tanner Designs Inc. from Atlanta, GA. It consists of a medium brown colored grosgrain ribbon attached to braided cords of various thicknesses, in light aqua, gold, and brown. The belt is accented in the centre with a brass lion head. I believe the metal to be brass, as it is not magnetized. There are areas of the lion head that are shinier than others. I do not consider these flaws, just the nature of vintage brass. There are 2 light aqua beads, 1 on either side of the lion head, as well as 4 smaller bronze colored beads. The belt fastens at the back with Velcro™ hook and loop strips. There is quite a bit of flexibility with sizing as the 2" 'hook' section can be placed anywhere on the 18" long 'loop' strip. This belt is such a cool, retro '80s design and perfect for a dress or skirt in need of a little extra style!
