Vintage 1980s CONTEMPO CASUALS Mini Dress, Teal with Silver Lame & Fringe, Sz. M

When I pulled this dress out of its garment bag, my first thoughts were that I couldn't believe I was ever this small OR this daring! This is classic 1980s fashion, right down to the shoulder pads. The top part of the dress is blouson style, made to drape loosely over the more fitted mini skirt. Made of 100 percent cotton except for the embellishment. Size Medium, but to be sure, here are the exact measurements: 19 inches from armpit to armpit 29 inch waist, which is an elasticized drop waist 12 inch skirt length, from where the elasticized drop waist ends to where the flare begins If you wear the drop waist at the top of your hips, as intended, you will gain a slight bit of length. In today's sizes, this is actually closer to a small than a medium, so be sure to measure. Machine wash (in a mesh bag) and hang dry. All you need is a coordinating headband, black heels, and really big hair and you'll transport yourself back to 1986!
