Vintage 1980's Handmade Home Ec Dress 👗

1980's High School Home Ec Class Memories I took Home Ec classes between 1984-88. My teacher, Mrs. Smith is still a FB buddy. I remember that she would send every pot and pan back at least three times, on principle, before she approved its cleanliness. I remember sitting in her class the day the space shuttle Challenger exploded. I remember making "Jams" aka board shorts and wish I still had them all. I wish I could still fit into them. I remember that I won an award for Home Ec, but I don't think it was for this dress, in particular. Being that I have no daughters, only five sons (which is why I'll never fit into this dress again), it's time to let it go. Simple cotton plaid dress in pink, blue and white. Lined bodice, unlined skirt. I was probably a Size 4, when I made this for myself. God, were my boobs ever that small? 😂 Shoulder to hem 40" Pit to Pit 14" Waist 12" Hem 35" Zipper 20" Can be let down about another 1"
