Vintage 1980s Italian Leather Jewelry Box Bombe Shape

Gorgeous Italian leather jewelry box in mahogany brown (warm red tint). Most likely from circa the Eighties. Small box has a curved top, sides and front, for a slight "bombe" shape. Embossed on the lid with gold color paint. Flat on the bottom (no feet). Lined in red velvet. Marked on the bottom "Genuine Calf Leather" and "Made in Italy" in gold color (no manufacturer's mark or stamp). In good usable condition with regular wear and the lid pops up about 1/16th of an inch on the left side (please see pictures). Nice quality item that's useful for storing jewelry or other heirlooms!
