Vintage 1980s Lausitzer Germany Leaded 10” MEDIA Crystal Footed Bowls-Set of 2 Designed by R. Koschnick the bowl is known for its floral shape with leaves. It was made in the Germany Democratic Republic (GDR). Made of 24% lead crystal. It’s a Scandinavian-style bowl with a footed design. It can be used to serve fruit and salads, or as a console bowl. It was designed in 1980/1989 Lausitzer Glaswerke, East German (GDR), Medea Design by R. Koschnick with Dew Drops and Leaves, Crystal Glass Bowl The glass factory was founded in 1889 as Oberlausitzer Glaswerke J. Schweig + Co. In 1920, the name was changed to Vereinigte Lausitzer Glaswerke.
