Vintage 1980’s Miss Elliette Chiffon Pink Dress

Dress is pink and long sleeve sheer arms in relatively decent condition for its age. The flaws are: one button missing on the belt and some fraying on the bottom of the back of the hem. The measurements are in pictures and measurements are laying flat. shoulder to shoulder it measures 14 inches, pit to pit 16” and waist is 28” with no stretch. It is 28 inches long from waist to bottom of hem. It doesn’t have a size and by measurements I would say a 6. Miss Elliette was a label owned and designed by Elliette Ellis. After studying at the Traphagen School of Fashion and working for a dress manufacturer, Ellis started her own line in 1952. She made mid-priced dinner and cocktail dresses that were very feminine, even in the 1960s and 1970s when fashion had moved in a different direction. Despite this, the line was very successful. The Miss Elliette label lasted into the 1990s.
