Vintage 1980s Signed Nina Ricci Paris Goldtone Cabochon Faux-Onyx Bracelet

1980s or 1990s goldtone cabochon faux-onyx articulated link bracelet with fold over clasp. Marked "©Nina Ricci." Measures: 7 3/4 inches long by 7/8 inches. Interior circumference is about 7 inches. Excellent condition, with original tag. Original retail price was $180, which with inflation is a little over $450 in today's currency if it were purchased in 1989. Nina Ricci was a Parisian fashion house founded in 1932. By the 1960s Nina Ricci was at the forefront of the emerging ready to wear lines of clothing, and its clothing was widely copied by high end stores in the US. By 1962 Nina Ricci had started to sell its own ready to wear line in the US. It also had a couture line, which was dissolved in 1998 when the company was sold to the Spanish company Puig.
