Vintage 1980's red checked sundress

Funky red '80's sundress. The over-dress is shear red with a checked pattern and red satin ribbon at the hem. The under-dress is red polyester with no sleeves. There were alterations at some point to the shoulders of the under-dress making it a bit shorter at the waist (see picture). It also used to have a belt that was gone when I got it. Also, it would be perfect for a tall person since I'm 5'5" and it's about 2 inches too long for me. Size is approximate.
