Vintage 1981 Porcelain H.J Otto & Grace S. Putname Collectible Doll

Limited Edition Doll, museum quality replica porcelin/china doll by artist, H.J Otto. The attention to detail to this doll's porcelain face and hands are exquisite and so is the ornate work on the lace dress.The doll's body is made of cloth and stuffing. This was a gift in 1981 when I was a child. It sat on a shelf. It was not tossed around & played with. The markings on the back of the doll's neck indicate that H.J Otto and Grace S. Putnam created the doll. I do not know if one artist did the dress & the other did the porcelain art work. A handwritten tag came with the doll indicating that it was H.J Otto who created the doll. That tag stuck in the diaper did make a stain on the doll's cloth backside. I tried to get out but it did not work....so it may need professional cleaning if it bothers you. But not visible and does not effect the quality of the doll. A postcard from the store where it was purchased also gives a description of a "Dianna Elmer" doll. I sadly don't know if that postcard came with the doll or I just took it from the store because I wanted an Elmer doll next. This is a special valuable gift for a child who will appreciate it.
