Vintage 1983 Peggie Kilgore Corn Husk Violinist Driftwood Sculpture This is an amazing driftwood sculpture by Peggie Kilgore. I love how she used the natural flow of the driftwood and carried it through to the figure lines of the violinist. It's really a remarkable piece with a considerable amount of feeling. You can probably tell I was drawn to this piece when I saw it. Such a delightful piece! The base is driftwood that is worn to a smooth soft finish. The figure is made of corn husk. Her signature and date are found on the piece. This is one of her earlier pieces and I love it! These have recently become more collectable with the unfortunate passing of Peggy Kilgore earlier this year Condition: Excellent vintage condition. It looks as if there might have been a bow that the violinist was using but it is not there. Size: approximately 10x10" Don't hesitate to ask questions. I'll do my best to answer.
