Vintage 1987 1988 Mike Benet Prom Dress Formal Blue Strapless Ruffles Princess 4

Beautiful Mike Benet classic vintage prom dress. This dress has gorgeous ruffles with a filament sewn on the edge to give them visual movement! The fabric is a royal electric blue with iridescent glitter sparkles that have a variety of colors within them. The fabric looks like it is lit up! It has a ruched bodice with ruffles at the top and at the dropped waist which are very flattering! It has a full tulle ruffled lining. It is not a mass produced dress and is very well made with excellent craftsmanship. This dress is truly unique and a rare find I’ve never seen another one like it. It is more timeless than most of the era, and feels very princess like still. It will include as a bonus, the hand made dust cover made for it. The lining has discolored over the years and is more purple in color as seen in the pictures. It was taken up at the top of the bust line about an inch on each side. There is no size tag in it but I would imagine it was probably a 4 or a 6 then. The smallest point at the waist is approximately 26.5” Drop waist at ruffle is around 36” on the inside Bust is approximately 32” Length is approximately 51” from under arm.
