Vintage 1989 size 37 Italian shoemakers

I bought these shoes in Italy in 1989. They were a lovely velvety burgundy. Now they are a bit dingy, but they are so well made that there is plenty of life in them. (I haven’t worn them for decades… but couldn’t bare to part with them.). The leaning tower of Pisa is the only indication of brand. 37 = US 6.5 (They continued to fit me after my feet grew to size 7.)
