Vintage Betsey Johnson black dress with pink flowers in a diagonal pattern. Dress features a gathered bust in a V shape with a ruffle trim and center small bow. The dress has an empire waistline and a tie in the back for a better fit. The dress then skims the body and is finished with a ruffle at the hem. The dress is in excellent condition but is missing the fabric and care tag. It appears to be out of the same fabric as the purple dress on my page and the purple dress appears to say that it is 100% rayon (the tag on the purple dress is quite faded). The dress was purchased at the Betsey Johnson store in the Galleria Mall in Dallas, Texas in the 1990's. It is a size Medium (fits closer to today's small). Measurements in Inches: Bust 35 Waist 31 Hips 38 Length 35 The dress has no stretch.

qscouturecloset I just sent you and the other likers of this dress an offer. I have been very busy so I didn't get to it until today. Hope this helps if you are still interested in buying it. It was always one of my favorite dresses - it is so easy to wear. I wish it still looked great on me but I am getting too old for it.

popleyscloset Hi! Out of this dress and the pinkish velvet one you have, which one do you think is larger? I am in absolute love with the velvet one, but I feel like this one might fit better. Any insight would be great! Thanks.

qscouturecloset Hi, not sure exactly which pinkish red one you are referring to. If it is the pink floral Betsey Johnson that is pictured outside (I was trying to get the best picture of the color when I posted it), they are kinda different. This dress does not have stretch whereas the pink one does. So the measurements are what they are. I try to note the amount of stretch in the description. It depends on which are you are concerned about fitting. This one is fairly big in the bust and fairly low cut.

qscouturecloset In addition, the pink one will stretch to fit your curves. If I am buying a stretchy dress I buy it a bit smaller (based on measurements) so it will hug my curves
