In the 1990s, Napier produced a series of high-end couture limited edition collections. The Napier Byzantium collection was one of the most prestigious collections produced during the 1990s. The variety of jewel-tone designs allows the collector to mix and match pieces within the collection. This necklace would be the focal point of that collection. The flexible links feature large oval faceted rhinestones in jewel tones of sapphire, emerald, amethyst, and ruby and are plated with a 23k gold plate.
