Vintage 30s Revere Ware Copper Double Boiler Egg Poacher Chicken Whistle 2 Cups

Revere Ware Copper Double Boiler Baby Bird Chicken Whistling Egg Cooker and 2 Vintage Hand Painted BIRD Egg Cups! 1930s cookware. Heavy gauge copper pots with brass handles. Tin lined and the bird is made of hard phenolic plastic. There is the inscription, "fill with cold water to this line” on the side of the lower pot. The upper pot has has a tower marked "soft," "medium," or "hard" so that you may add water and cook the eggs to your liking. Pot is 5.5” tall and 4.5” wide. I’m also including two (2) Hand Painted vintage “Egg Cups” that I inherited from my mother. They are shaped like birds, composed of porcelain, made in Japan and stand approximately 2.5 inches tall. They are both in excellent shape without chips and have beautiful and bright paint! * I did not test to see if the cooker still whistles. There are dents, patina, and other signs of age on the pot. The bottom isn’t perfectly flat, but it sits as it should on the range. (Please see all pictures). Bird’s beak shows some wear, but has no cracks at all.
