Vintage 40s 50s minimalist blue dress XS S

1940s/50s blue minimalist short sleeve dress. I have a feeling that this was vintage workwear, as it feels like 100% linen or a durable mid weight cotton. It features a rounded neckline, short sleeves, banded waistband with bodice and skirt pleating, hip pockets, a long left side metal zipper, and a slight A-line skirt. Note: The dress does have serged seams and small hems, which isn’t common from those eras, but it has cotton thread and everything else points to then. I believe it is true vintage and not a repro, but I want to make sure the listing is transparent since there are no labels. There is a teeny bit of fraying at the bottom and top of the righthand pocket. The top one is a very tiny hole/tear but the bottom one just looks like a seam separating. No other issues.
