Vintage 40's Alpenblick wool sweater burgundy wine size XS

This sweet little vintage gem of a sweater is surprisingly soft for 100% wool. It fits me like an XS with a bit of a crop fit. Super cute with a tight skirt or fitted trousers. There is one small hole on the left arm. See last photo. I usually match an embroidery floss color to darn the hole, but did not have a match for this sweater. It is a deep burgundy wine color that looks more red in some lighting. This is such a one of a kind treasure. I hope she goes to a good, new home!
