Vintage 40s Brown Crocodile Belly Box Purse w Mirror and Leather Lining, Brass Beautiful brown reptile skin outer shell with tan leather lining. Matching original purse mirror with leather backing Hardware in great shape. Small discolorations in lining inside, looks like pencil lead. Small separations on two parts of the handles, see photos - it appears to be where the animal skin texture was thin and has cracked, but I didn't notice it until taking pictures. Does not change functionality of bag. Let me know if you need more images or have any questions. Bag is 8.5" wide by 6.5" tall by 3.5" deep. Two strap handles. Brass closures and trim/hardware. PreOwned, one owner. Been in closet for decades. Mother In Law worked at the Pentagon and this was one of her work purses.
