Brand: Alpinit Color(s): purple similar to an eggplant Tag size: 38, would fit a modern XS/S but go by below measurements Fabric/Care: none stated, most likely wool with acetate lining Vintage 40's mid length princess coat features a knit wool outer, wide notched lapel, four button closure with silver toned metal buttons, two flap patch pockets, fully lined, does not have shoulder pads. Based on what I could research I believe this was made in Switzerland. There are a few moth nibbles throughout and a moth hole on the edge of the collar.
