Vintage 1940's Red Cotton Velvet Skirt Suit Set War Era Art Deco Glamour Red cotton velvet skirt suit in excellent vintage condition Embroidered trapunto style shoulder jacket with wired stand-up collar and peplum style waist Jacket also features 4 covered button closure and snap cuff long sleeves- Lined at inside waistline only Slight A-line mid length skirt with Talon metal zipper and 2 hook and eyes side closure- Unlined No Maker tags anywhwere on either pieces- Appears custom made Fits a modern Size 6 Please note: Suit is in excellent vintage condition with very minor imperfections throughout that are primarily noticeable under heavy inspection - Jacket has a black spot/stain under last button hidden when jacket is closed. Skirt has some small black spots throughout that are hidden well in folds when worn. Suit has not been treated/washed or dry-cleaned by seller.
