Vintage 40’s/50’s Wedding Dress, Custom Made

Vintage Bridal/Wedding Dress, Custom made somewhere between Early to Mid 40’s and Early 50’s. Just Gorgeous. Off White. Fitted Bodice of Gathered Taffeta, Flares from Waist, Pleated Skirt. Large Flowy Bow in back. Lined, plus there is Tulle under-layer which is doubled on the bottom portion. No rips, stains, dirt. However, there are a couple of tiny holes in front but the white fabric underneath sort of renders them unnoticeable. An easy fix with very fine transparent nylon thread if you choose to have repaired. See last photo please. Other than those minor flaws this is in amazing condition for being 80 years old, give or take a couple! Metal (Able) Zipper. Below Knee (Midi) length. Mannequin is 5’9” with 33” bust and 23.5” waist). This dress will not be full length on you unless you are quite short in stature. Flat Lay Measurements: Underarm to underarm 16.5” (absolute max 17”), 12” Waist, 7” arm hole, 48” long shoulder seam to hem. You will probably want to have the pleats pressed. I actually purchased this for myself but sadly it’s just too small for comfort. Still on the lookout!
