Vintage 40s McCoy Planter Vase Pottery Ceramic Wishing Well Grant a Wish USA

This is a lovely whimsical piece showing McCoy's early decorative side. "Oh Wishing Well Grant a Wish To Me" is embossed around the wishing well. Bucket on the side has a moveable metal handle feature and attached chain. Measures: 7" wide x 6 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" deep McCoy Stoneware Company, a pottery manufacturer, was based in Ohio. Originally, the company made utilitarian wares. After 1925, they began offering decorative objects such as jars, stands, and planters.
