Vintage 50s Claudia Young Black Velvet Wiggle Dress Size 4/6

DESCRIPTION Vintage 1950s wiggle dress from Claudia Young. Square neckline at front; V neckline at back. Velvet fabric has rips in both pits (see photos); this could be repaired, and be relatively unnoticeable given the location. Velvet otherwise appears to be sturdy, and no other flaws are noted. The flared skirt has a crinoline beneath. The skirt has rows of soutache attached. Shoulder straps have crochet loops to hold bra straps. COLOR Black MATERIAL Velvet TAG SIZE No size tag present. note on size: I wear a Women's 4/6 and I fit into this. Waist and hips no problem. The chest fits fine, but not to accommodate movement with a full range of motion (I do have broad shoulders though). The armhole is tight, and it could be cut bigger, which would help (and would correct the tears here.)
