Vintage 50s Cream Floral Tapestry Clutch Bag with fold away Chain. Petit Pointe Embroidery style Frame Purse. Made in Western Germany. From the early 1950s, a lovely frame purse in a tapestry fabric (made to look like petit pointe). Rose floral on a cream background. Gold-tone metal frame has gracefully curved, modified kiss-lock closure and snake-style chain handle that folds away so you can carry as a Clutch Evening Bag. Interior is gold satin with a single slip pocket. Note that a standard-size cell phone fits easily, with room to spare. Labels: Made in Western Germany - Cotton chief value.
