Beautiful dress, but pretty delicate. When bought, the bodice was very tight, so I had to let out the seams on the sides, and the darts in front and back. As I was undoing the seams, the fabric tore, so it is fragile, not really wearable condition. Trying to sell though, in case anyone would like it for display. Definitely flawed, and price reflects that. I had to detach most of the bodice from the skirt to adjust the size, and when I re-sewed it, I added new rick-rack to the waist except for what was closest to the zipper. Full and flowy skirt.

You could have added a panel such as a lace up panel in front perhaps to add more room? And perhaps the waist rick rack you mentioned could be solved via a new added layer of embroidery trim ? I really like it . I'm a 26 waist , so probably would fit no?

@hipgnosisvtg Good ideas.. the style of the waist is a little higher than, say, where a skirt would sit. I have the measurements posted and can measure the shoulder to waist if needed for you.
