Vintage 50s Gloria Swanson Forever Young black beaded waist 3/4 sleeve sheath cocktail dress in midi length. Side metal zipper closure. Fully lined except sleeves. Hand sewn hems. Doesn't have a materials tag. Body fabric has no stretch, there is a satiny stripe at the waist with beading. There are belt loops. Scoop neck modest formal wear. Nice take on the little black dress, and has a very flattering body skimming sheath silhouette. Great wedding guest dress, evening gown, cocktail dress, event dress. There is no size tag. About a size small. Shown on small. In amazing condition. Does not appear to have been worn, because it has a paper tag that has not been damaged. Gloria Swanson was a famous silent movie star born in 1899. She began designing clothing in 1951, and was known for her glamorous Hollywood style gowns. Developed her own "Forever Young" label (made for her by Puritan).
