Vintage 50s Intricate Gold Tone Rope Faux Citrine Emerald Rhinestone Brooch Pin

Beautiful large brooch, vintage from the 50s, intricate design with twisted rope and teardrop shapes with open work between the stones. Big faceted center piece (see side view), I believe this is glass with some type of coating to make it look like a citrine (scratches and finish loss can be seen under magnification), and the side stones are an emerald green crystal or rhinestone. All stones are present, back has a pin as well as a hook style bail so that you could attach this to a necklace if you like. Great size to wear on a coat or blazer. Size is approx 2.5 inches across.
