Vintage 50s Novelty Border Print Gathered Skirt, Mykonos Greece Windmill Size S

Vintage 50s Mykonos windmill print scenic border print skirt in black, brown and green colorway. Mykonos is a Greek island on the Aegean sea known for it's beauty and scenic windmills on a hill (with women wearing head scarves and donkeys/burros) overlooking the town below. The skirt also features what appears to be flowering cactus shrubs in green with orange fruit/flowers as pictured. Medium weight smooth cotton. Right side metal zipper and waistband hook. Full gathered skirt is 88" around the bottom. I'm 5'4" and this comes to the top of my calf. It could be shorter or longer on you depending on your height. Unlined. No pockets. LABEL: None - this appears to be handmade. CONDITION: There are no odors, fading, discoloration, or tears, but there is overall wash wear. The original high waist fabric was worn at the top and has been turned under making a 3/4" wide waistband. SIZING: There are no size tags. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern size Small.
