Vintage French Vallauris Culinary Pottery, Hand-Painted Ceramic Salt & Pepper Dish with Sculpted Cicada Sitting On Top, Provence Spice Pinch Pots Appears to Be From the 1950s. Glazed, White Inside with a Beautiful Golden Yellow Exterior That is Almost a Light Orange in Places. (It Reminds Me of a Sunset). Hand-Painted with a Few Simple Brush Strokes of a Plant & a Tree. The Cicada is the Main Piece de Resistance as it Guards Both Sides of the Dish. The Dish is Divided Into Two Compartments. Can Be Used As a Spice Pinch Pot, a Relish or Olive Dish.
