This hat has a beautiful vintage patina with visible stains and distressing throughout. There is stitching at the front pinch of the crown but is mostly hidden (see pic). The leather sweatband shows its age with some chipping/cracking and is usable as is but is fragile and will need to be replaced at some point. Please see all photos to best evaluate the condition. The brim can be snapped up or down depending on your style preference. Size tag is 7 1/8 and circumference is 22 1/8” which puts actual size between size 7 and 7 1/8. If this was my hat, I would replace the sweatband with an appropriately sized 7 1/8 high quality lamb leather sweatband and get many more years of wear out of this beautiful hat.
