Vintage 60’s 70’s Sweater Womens 12/14 Small cream rust ski Nordic preppy

Preowned 100% Acrylic in excellent condition, unsure of the official year Made by Dure Fashion sz tag says sz 12/14 but it is not a 12/14 size of 2024 women, please review measurements in photo’s. colors are Ruse Cream and Brown with a mock neck. What was a size 12 in the 1950s? In 1958, a woman who had a 34in bust and a 25in waist – much like Marilyn Monroe – was considered to be a US size 12 (equivalent to a UK 16). However, today a size 12 would fit a woman with a 39in bust and a 32in waist. Which sort of explains why that dress you got in a vintage shop doesn't quite fit properly
