Vintage '60s Barbizon Colette Sz 14 Slip Dress Smoky Lilac Nylon/Orlon and Lace

What a beautiful throwback to the coquettish '60s in a classic slip dress from Barbizon fashions, the "Colette" line. This formal/cocktail dress is made of Barbizon trademark nylon/orlon blend fabric in a smoky lilac color for the skirt and the lace overlay on an ivory background for the bodice. Sweetheart neckline and lace straps, the neckline edges are scalloped. There is a hidden side zipper. The dress is tagged size 14, and laid flat measures 18" armpit to armpit, 16" side to side at waistline and is 45" long top of shoulder to hem. A really sweet dress in excellent, gently worn condition. There is one spot in back near the hem that seems to be a bit darker, slightly discolored, looks a bit like a water spot. You won't see it unless you look carefully for it. Overall, this vintage dress is absolutely gorgeous and ready to wear, perfect for today! Surely to be one of your most prized pieces in your vintage closet.
